How To Backflip On Skis

By Xavi Sandler

Step 1: Be comfortable skiing on snow.

Step 2: Make sure you are comfortable backflipping on a trampoline(if you aren't able to flip on a trampoline click here to learn how to).

Step 3: Once you are on the snow, find a jump that will give you enough airtime to fully rotate. After you find the perfect jump, predict how much speed you will need going into the jump(if you have too much speed then you will over-rotate and land on your back, if you don't have enough speed then you will under-rotate and land on your stomach).

Step 4: Start to ski to your jump at least 50 feet above, make sure to be controled as you approach the jump.

Step 5: When you are about to go off the lip, jump/pop as hard as you can and throw your hands up as high as hard as possible.

Step 6: lean back and look behind you. Spot your landing and tighten your core for the impact.

Step 7: Show the video to all your friends and family. Flex that you can backflip now!
