Are you tired of taking forever to fold your shirts? Do you wish there was a hack to folding quick? Well, there is, and I will teach you! This process is very easy and will help you out for a long time to come. If you want to know how this can help you, and the links used to make this page, click here to learn about it. All you need is yourself and a shirt and let's get started!
Important Note: Make sure you look at your shirt sideways, so the smaller legnth is to the left. One you do this technique a lot, some of the steps, such as drawing imaginary lines, you won't have to do.
Step 1.Find your shirt and lay it down straight and try to avoid folds/wrinkles. Once you become good at this technique, it won't matter too much.
Step 2.Once your shirt is laid down, draw an imaginary line with your eyes across the shirt the short way. This will help later
Step 3.Now, draw another imagnary line from the left side of the collar down straight. This should give you something that looks like a sideways ax.
Step 4.Then, label the point where the collar meets the top point B, the middle point where the two lines meet A, and the last one C.
Step 5.Grab point B with your left hand, and point A with your right. Fold point B over to point C.
Step 6.Now, this step is where most people mess up, and I messed up my first time too. What you want to do is very easy, but also very easy to mess up. Quickly unfold your hands while keeping hold of the shirt.
Step 7.Shake out the shirt a little bit to get the top to be a good fold and straight.
Step 8.Fold one side to the other. This will give you your folded shirt which you an put in your drawer or put anywhere you would like. It should look like the image to the right.
You have your shirt! This method may have seemed very slow but that's because it's your first time doing it. The more you practice, the quicker you'll get. Eventually, you should be able to do it in around 2-3 seconds. You won't have to make the lines, because your brain will know where the points are. Keep practicing, and this will save you so much time! To the right is a video of me doing the whole process from start to finish
