I am a member of Junior High Choir. We meet twice a week, and I go to rehearsals with my friends. This is my second year of doing Choir, my first year was fifth grade. I decided that I first wanted to start to sing when I was young. I made this decision because every night before bed, my mother would sing to me, and I wanted to be like her. I like going to choir, and I attend every rehearsal.
I love to Facetime and go out with my friends. We call every day to rehash the day and to homework together. Occasionally, we will be able to meet up at the mall, or one of our houses. My favorite thing to to with my best friends is to go on walks with them while we listen to music and talk about random topics. We love to make each other laugh, and about 90% of the time, we are laughing. I've been best friends with the same three girls since I was in kindergarten, and I try to spend time with them as much as I can.
I am an avid reader. I enjoy most genres, other than sci-fi. I've loved reading since I was a little girl. My favorite genre is fiction. I try to read every night before bed, and I also read in class when my teachers give us time for quiet reading. I love to listen to music while I read. Reading provides me with a sense of relaxation and tranquility whenever I am upset or stressed out.
